A little on the short side, but an experience that is worth buying.

The Secret of Monkey Island is one of the best adventure games ever. The graphics are quite jagged. Don't even try to compare the visuals to nowaday's though. The pc monitors that we use today were built for higher res visuals and make anything lower res look jagged. Back at release the game had the best graphics of the time. That is why I am not letting the graphics subtract from the points it gets.The sound is great and is still a beauty to hear. Although I wish there was music playing everywhere, not just in some places. The story is the main factor of the game and manages to draw you in with its sense of humor that is never too dry. My only real complaints are that the puzzles get a tad repetitive. The game is also a bit too short. Although that does mean that you can easily play it again and pick different dialogue choices to keep things fresh.
