Looks o.k.- worth trying eventually. Will probably wait on a price drop since it doesn't look worth $50. Besides I already have so much that I've bought over the past few months that I haven't had time to get to yet.

Who's talkin smack about the iron cross? Shut yo mouth son. The swastika isn't an exclusive symbol of the nazis either, nor is the red flag it's rendered upon. Ignorance just turned the iron cross & swastika into bad things. Ignorance tends to do that to everything. Nobody displays an iron cross or swastika ever since the nazi regime, because both are more trouble than they're worth since everyone assumes it's nazi memorabelia
Looks pretty good, to dandalong07, just so you know the "german cross" as you put it isn't exclusively a nazi symbol, it had been used in germany since the 1830s and is still used on their tanks and planes
Looks pretty good and I can't wait to buy it. For the guy who is complaining about the lack of swastikas...there is a reason for this. In Germany they are very sensitive to the events of WWII and any videogame with a swastika is likely to not be sold there. I don't think it takes away from the game. If I see a German cross or the German eagle emblem I still know it is referencing Nazi Germany.
Looks good but i have to many games to buy at the end of this year and at the beggining of next year. So right now this is behind AC2, MW2, L4D2, Mafia 2, SWB Elite Squadron, LBP psp, AC Bloodlines, MAG, AvP, Splinter cell and Bad Company 2. So i will have to wai till this is like $30 darn.
I played a demo of this game at comic con and I really liked it. The combat and movement was smooth and satisfying and the world looked great. It started with a linear fps style base area that you need to escape from that is sort of the tutorial. It was fun but when I escaped and realized that it is an openworld set in occupied paris I was really blown away. I am getting this one for sure!

Looks rather promising, except they should use real swastikas. The censorship is very jarring and would really hurt immersion. I watched the video but what stuck with me the most was that the swastikas were all replaced by crosses. I've made several comments like this before. If you're going to do WWII, don't utterly butcher the setting with 50-star US flags and censored-out swastikas.
The gameplay looks a bit standard and kind of clumsy. I see the gameplay in this game being a lot of like inFamous... with all your superpowers replaced with guns. It could be good. Will probabley be a rental, or borrow, for me.
Interesting! This looks like the combination of Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider and Splinter Cell. Let's see how it will perform after the release. If it gets a 8.5 out of 10 at least on Gamespot, I will get it.
@charlesworth89: very good point. but to at least show those horrors in cinematics would be the best way to emphasise on the events. the part in schindlers list when u see the jews burning and the dead jewish girl in the weelbarrow in her red dress (the only color in that scene) was a feat designed by 80 years of cinematic history to go by. to put that in a videogame would be an amazing feet.
This game is going to be amazing. It's as if they thought, how can we make a better Assasins Creed with Theif like components.
ill definatley be getting this after i get uncharted 2. Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 im 100% getting both the black and prestige edition icannot wait this year is such a good year for gaming next is not gona dissapoint with God of war 2 and other stuff cannot wait
@Tharkun89: I appreciate the sentiment and I agree that its almost reprehensible for developers to continually ignore that part. BUT: In an enviroment where I cant only interact with stuff be shooting it, and when so many other games are showing so much messed up stuff and sever gore, I dont want to see the holocaust in games. It puts it in the same category are fallout, which diminishes the impact of learning about the actual event.
Why unacceptable? they look fine to me, am i missing something? (besides colour :P) Ive been eying this game for a while now. begining to get anxious
This looks awesome, and I'm going to buy it for sure. But let's be honest, the graphics are just unacceptable.
