Nothing Flashy, the most original part of this game is the fact that you are in a sandbox game in nazi controlled paris.
Which leads me to the point that this game though great, with a decent story had no real surprising twists to it. There were a few feeble attempts to surprise the player but the twists were easily guessed much earlier then the story revealed them. Which leads me to the point that the game was based on its story. In my opinion the story almost seemed forced. The game shines bright though in the free-play.
With so many free play games flooding the market these days its hard to remember what it is your really looking for in a sandbox style game. You've got Red Dead Redemption, Just Cause, but this game shines above both of them in my eyes with the originality of the time period. There has been other Sandbox's created with a wild west setting such as Red Dead Revolver, though it was nearly as a good its still not an original idea.
I think that everyone agrees that 4 years ago the market was too flooded with WW2 Games and it still seems to continue to this day, just not to the same extreme. Its just such a good historical time period with so much documentation and almost everyone has a good general knowledge of the time period that they can relate there knowledge to them in some way. This though is not the typical WW2 action shooter that we are all used to.
Some of the things that stick out to me is nonchalantly walking down the street stabbing a Nazi in the kidney and walking away before he is even on the ground. Walking around with a big bag of dynamite blowing up Nazi guard towers and panzer tanks with it. Watching the Nazi generals freak out on pedestrians after you Snipe his bodyguards. The fun that comes from this game is enormous. I must have spent near 60 hours in open free play just killing Nazi's for the fun of it with my battle buddies in Iraq. This game comes highly recommended from me and my Battle buddies.
