A great game for passing your bullet-charged,action-packed time !!
So,Frank Castle became Punisher after a guy allegedly killed his family.Sounds similiar ? Not what follows ! He is now willing to KILL everyone in his way to finding the criminal,generally not what your every-day superhero would do.
The game starts at a local Crack-house,where the Punisher has visited to find some drug-dealers.After he gets the job done,a car tries to run him.So after checking the number plate,he finds it linked to a Chop-shop,where all stolen cars are fixed(for the good).He finds it's owner,& after questioning him,Frank finds out he works for the Gnuccis,a Colombian-based crime family.Thus starts your rampage on the Gnuccis.You kill Ma Gnuccis two sons ruthlessly,and make your way to the Gnucci estate itself to get a piece of Ma herself(whom you kill anyway).Then you find out the Russians have been in-line with the family in running illegal trade through the docks.This is the second(bloody part)of the story.You discover they are dealing with a dangerous nuclear weapon,which you must recover and put out-of commission before it causes harm.So you make your way all the way to Grand Nixon Island to do that.Good ! Even after,you realise it's the Kingpin who is behind all this,and he requires some questioning too.You visit Fisk Industries(in the most unwelcoming way)and find out that a guy named "Jigsaw" has been using you to weaken Kingpin's empire and you yourself,so that he takes advantage of this and rises to prominence.This is the last part of the story,where you'll have to find,and kill Jigsaw,who co-incidentally is the same person who killed your family ! Yippe !
The game-play is solid,plenty of action.Plenty of guns.Plenty of fun ! You can grab enemies(lots of them in the game),and actually interrogate them to get info.Interrogation is fun and you can interrogate any enemy using almost everything in the surroundings.You have a special "slaughter mode" where you can throw knives at them to tun them and then kill them brutally.
The bosses in the game are quite challenging(The Russian,a general,Bull's Eye etc.).You can gain points in the game with which you can upgrade your armory,like buying armor,increasing the length of slaughter mode etc.
There are some guest acts in the game including Black Widow,Iron Man,Nick Fury and a few more.
These together make the game,which is otherwise quite repetitive and sometimes boring,really worth playing because of the enemy's AI,and your crude sense of humor,and a lust for blood !
