A very short game with some great visuals for an Indie game

User Rating: 8 | The Plan PC

The Plan is a very short game for something that would appear on Steam but it's actually free to download so there's no harm in checking this game out if you are curious about this title. There is actual story plot or anything complicated on terms of gameplay you control a fly ascends to the skies, pondering the pointlessness of its brief existence.

Using the arrow keys to move around avoiding leaves, strong winds and the odd spider webs a simple game indeed if you are one of those casual gamers who don't play games that much or wanting to take a 5 minute break in general because you can get through this game under 10 minutes or less. The camera does try and keep up with the fly you control as you are reaching the very top of the sky which is the main objective.

What really makes this game shine that it tries to be like Journey or Passage, or even Dear Esther, but it's actually even shorter than Journey on length. The visuals look impressive when it comes to settings starting from bottom gardens with a mix of dark shadings and textures in the background and the music for this is impressive to listen to as well as you head towards the top.

There is an extra feature added which most gamers would get the reference once they've been beaten the game and will likely give you a laugh. A short game that has a sharp experimental deliberation on the meaning of life and it's worth taking a look at and also nab a Steam Achievement for your troubles too.
