The Outfit tries to differentiate itself from many other RTS games by introducing small squad control mechanic and letting you take control of a single individual vs a massive army. Unfortunately, it does nothing to reel you into the gameplay. You won't really care about any of the characters and since you have only a squad of 4 under your command, none of the battles seem dramatic or important.

Calling in reinforcements may be a nice touch but it doesn't elevate the gameplay a whole lot. The main story involves the player chasing some Nazi head honcho and doesn't develop beyond that unfortunately.

The Outfit tries really hard to be liked, but with average graphics, average gameplay, forgettable story, and currently non-existent multiplayer, it'll probably end up getting your attention for a very short time.

I'd suggest anyone that's interested in giving this game a look to either rent it or find it in the bargain bin.
