You do not review action-adventure game as you would RPG... GS made another mistake. Big one this time.

Every genre of game, movie, book, music have it's own purpose. One are made to amuse, one to make you think, other to just admire the views and enjoy the story. It's pity that Kevin is trying to set an universal rules that would apply to all type of games and is making a review based on that approach. Too subjective.

It seams (once again) that GS is yet to understand that good review measures the game based on genre-specific elements. I'm worried however that they do not make those mistakes with games like CoD, AC or others. "Remember: Your words may be the words that sway a reader into buying or avoiding this product. So act responsibly!" exactly GS! Exactly!

This game is, in terms of it's mechanics, gameplay, storytelling a lot like Uncharted games. So if you liked those you will love The Order: very good story, superb voice acting, great music, astonishing graphics. Exactly what I would expect from next-gen game to provide.

I do not want to say to much about this game apart from trying to push my reader away from Kevin's review. Just give it a try. It's short (not that CoD, Uncharted or Vanquish isn't...) but it's filled with memorable moments and fantastic locations. It will end quickly but it will left you wanting for more.
