User Rating: 9.5 | The Orange Box X360
When I purchased the Orange Box, i had never played any of the games on it before. I heard a lot about Half Life 2 and how it was considered the greatest PC shooter of all time, and i was interested in playing it. When i bought this, I can simply say that i got a lot more than i bargained for.

To start off, Half Life 2 is an excellent game, and is definetley my favorite part of this five game package. The combination of intense action with mind bending puzzles rarely left me bored. The Gravity Gun is perhaps the greatest video game weapon ever, and I had hours of fun throwing corpses at other enemies. This long and exciting adventure is an FPS classic, and I hughly reccomend it to any FPS fan.

The weaknesses of the Orange Box are Half Life Episodes One and Two. These games follow the same format as the original game, however, it lacks a decent amount of fighting sequences. There is just way too much dialogue and cut scenes in these games. Don't get me wrong, these games aren't bad and there is still solid action, but the plot weakens toward the end of these games and leaves you unsatisfied.

Portal and Team Fortress 2 were great aditions to this collection. Portal is a puzzle game where you use a gun that creates portals to navigate through puzzles while being guided by a robotic voice that sings directions to you (weird bu funny). This game will put your brain to the test and will deliver nonstop fun. Team Fortress 2 is a wacky team based FPS. You can pick from a variety of classes, from Soldier to Spy, and use their unique abilities to win at game modes such as Territorial Control and Capture the Flag. Your character's taunts are hilarious, and the game will deliver some good ol' laughs with your friends. TF 2 is a simple yet fun shooter.

Overall, the Orange Box is a great deal. The wide variety of great games is deifnetley worth the money. Whether you're fighting your way through mysterious creatures in Half Life 2, solving crazy puzzles in Portal, or laughing at Team Fortress 2, you will find at least one game that you will love.
