Great collection of games, especially for fans of the Half-Life universe. Half-Life 2 lets you take control of Gordon Freeman, in the aftermath to Black Mesa and the Seven Hour War. Half-Life 2 combines a first-person shooter with a puzzle game to create an intense gameplay mechanic. Portal presents a new take on the Half-Life universe. Portal puts you in the place of Chell, an employee of Aperture Sciences. You awaken to find that you're the only one left at Aperture, and that you will be tested using a Portal gun, while GLaDOS, the "person" in charge at Aperture, guides you through the tests. Team Fortress 2 is a team-based first-person shooter multiplayer game, continued after the first game, Team Fortress Classic. In Team Fortress 2, you can choose either the Red team or the Blu team, and become one of nine unique classes to wage war against your enemies. Overall, The Orange Box is worth the price, coming with 5 games (Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2) for the price of not even one. The Orange Box is a great collection of games to buy and/or play, whether just for fun, or to kill time while waiting for Half-Life 2: Episode Three and Portal 2 to come out. The only downside I can find to The Orange Box is that all games are solely single player, with the exception of Team Fortress 2 which can be played online.
