An amazing prehistoric arcade experience!

User Rating: 9.1 | The Lost World: Jurassic Park ARC
Imagine on an island rarely explored by man, alone in the woods, sweat drippind down your neck, not knowing what could happen to spring upon you. Then, as you turn back, you see a collosal lizard, towering over you. It roars as you prepare to run, but as you turn, it lunges its head at you, carrying you in its mouth, devouring you.

In the Lost World: Jurassic Park, you play as one of two nameless mercenaries. You are on Isla Sorna, Site B, the location of The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III. Your base has been overrun by velociraptors and diploducus dinosaurs. You need to rescue Ian Malcolm, and Sarah Harding. This is an arcade game, so the game moves you around for you, and you shoot with an arcade pistol.

Your enemies are dinosaurs. They are mostly velociraptors, compsognathus, and diploducus. You will also occasionally see pteronadons and pachycephalosaurus dinosaurs as well. There are also "boss" fights which you will have to fight at the end of each level. They are mostly Tyrannosaurs, but there is also a giant alligator in the swamp, and a Cartosaurus in the facility.

It is very fun playing in this dinosaur environment, with velociraptors lunging at you, as the games most common opponent, and compys running on the floors, also a threat. There will also be people that will die in front of you, such as raptors killing mercenaries, and you will also see Rex's throwing people out of vehicles with their teeth, and literally seeing a human getting swallowed (along with his gun) by a Rex before your very eyes!

This is an arcade game, as the gameplay is very simple, with not a lot of depth. You basically only shoot with your pistol, but that is quite fun as well. The value, while its the same experience every time, costs only a few tokens off you, so the fun experience is worth the tokens.

Overall, The Lost World is a fun arcade experience that will surely burn tokens off you, and give you a fun experience at the arcades.
