The Lost Crown its an amazing adventure game with an unique appealing
The Lost Crown sets you in an universe where ghosts surround you in a town that has its share of mistery and blood y history chasing the last crown of the Saxons. However to accomplish that you are going to use some scientific advanced gadgets and some other more simpler but not less efficient ways to obtain help from the spirits beyond the veil and the living.
At the beggining of the game you find yourself running away from a corporation you tried to hack some files you that contain information that you dont seem to understand and arrive in a little God forgotten town, soon you see yourself involved in ghost hunting and digging in the ancient history of the town.
Its a simple point and click adventure with your usual inventory, however dont have to do pixel hunts to find objects or spots you may need.
The modeling of the game isnt top technology and the animations arent fluid, but the mix of renders, 3d modeling and photography creates awesome results. The game has a visual unique appealing, its all in gray scale with some details in living colors, that gives the mood of a cold foggy weather of the coasts of England nad enhances some of the ghostly aspects present everywhere.
The sounds are great, the ambiantation its awesome, the voice acting its ok and sometimes it can feel out of place, however some characters has great voice acting. Has great effects setting the mood of paranormal ambience, specially giving the feeling that you have some kind of "sensitivity" to paranormal and hear some voices when you reach special spots.
The history its very interesting, weaving the little historys and personal mysterys of a whole town to solve a single and big enigma, and find the Lost Crown.
