"Rent it first"
This title is fun but frustrating to play. As the editorial review says there are setbacks when playing the gam; you cannot just save whenever you want in multiplayer mode, because if anyone in the party has played even two minutes more or less than you the game will not allow you to save on your own. The game saves when it feels like it which is generally at the entry point of a new area. Me and my partner destroyed a whole cave full of enemies, went back to town to repair our gear and all the enemies came back! However, we did get extra xp for it but, come on, really?

It is almost useless to revive fallen partners since the enemies will just crowd you and beat you to death while you are reiving them. I also found there to be several areas where you cannot go back to town to buy and health potions and get stuck fighting enemies much stronger than you in confined places and you can't go anywhere or do anything about it, you have to just keep dying over and over and over again. You don't get to keep any of the xp either.

Another problem with the save feature is that often I would loot a good new item of armor or a weapon and level up, but if I died ten minutes later I lost all my new stuff and had to re-level my character again (now that's total crap). There is no reason that players can't save their weapons, level, and loot I don't care how far behind or forward they are.

Also the inventory system does NOT allow you to view the inventory of any A.I. characters, so you have no idea what stats they have. You can give them armor and weapons but after a while you don't even know how much stuff they have and what do they do with what they aren't wearing? You could be selling it but you can't get to their inventory (boooooo!)

The good stuff is that the weapons and battles are great. The skills and spells are fun. There's just something about killing those orcs! It has decent story line but as usual points were dedcuted because even on a large hd t.v. much of the text is too small to read or make out (no more excuses guys make it readable).

Based on the Novel book of the same name this game is an A-RPG (Action Role Playing Game) released in 1994 in US and 1995 in Europe. Your goal in the game is to do plenty of repetitive Fletch quests in order to recruit allies to your party.
