Unless you're crazy and you hated the movie, then you should have no problem enjoying this game.

User Rating: 8 | The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers PS2
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the video game is obiviously based on the then said movie. I didn't particulary care for the first movie's game but this one is a few steps up from that one.

Gameplay, 9. Each level is based upon some part of the movie, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. In each level you play as either Aragorn, Legalas, or Gimli. Aragorn is pretty much in the middle, Legalas is a fast weaker character, and Gimli is the slower stronger one. Not all the levels take place in the second movie. Actually, a lot of this game's missions are from parts of the first Lord of the Rings. Since you only play as Aragorn, Legalas, and Gimli the game pretty much focuses on those 3 characters only and you only see Frodo, Borimir, and Gandalf in one or two levels. Sam, Merry, and Pippon aren't seen for some reason.
In each mission you have to either get to the end, defend something, stop something from being overran, or kill something.
The game plays really well. Each mission is fun and interesting to play. Killing Goblins, Orcs, and Uraks is pretty fun to do. Upgrading you characters also makes things more interesting.

Graphics, 9. The graphics are really good. There is a lot of detail to all the levels and the all actually look like they came straight out of the movie. All the characters look like the actors from the move.

Sound, 10. The music is perfect. Many of the movie's great soundtracks come right back into this game and it is quite an experience to get to hear them while you fight for your life against the forces of Mordor and Isengard. All the voice actors also come back which makes for impressive voice acting.

Value, 7. Like any game based on a movie, it's not the longest game in the world. But after you finish the game the first time there are other things you can earn.

Difficulty, Just Right. You can choose what difficulty you want when you start the game so the difficulty is whatever you want it to be.

Tilt, 7. I like this game. It is one of the only games based on a movie that is actually good. If you even remotely liked the movie, then you will probably like this game.
