The Lord of the Rings: The Third age is spectacular but lacks depth and proper ending.

Lord of the Rings the third age certainly outdoes itself on clips and voices from the three Lord of the Rings films though. Despite all this bang it is not worthy bearing the title, The Lord of the Rings. This game is ... Read Full Review

Worse than it is good, but is good

After you get past the boring battle queue, massively unbalanced computer intelligence, and mock-cooperative mode; it's an OK game. Let's start with the worst: the new battle mode. Well there is no other way to say it: y... Read Full Review

i beat the game on medium and hard, but it was not exaclty diffuclt, but it was ridiscouly long. when i played my first time it took over 80 hours to complete. the main problem is there are to many places you can go. so ... Read Full Review

    Worth a rental

The Third Age is a decent experience for all LOTR fans. It’s a fairly “easy-to-play” game, especially for RPG players. Storyline is distinctive and not the regular LOTR tale. Having said that, you have cameos by most ... Read Full Review

    Amazing, outstanding, stunning, everything!

I just love this game. No, I don't mean the NBA, I mean The Lord of the Rings:The Third Age. This is the coolest game ever made. Even though it doesn't follow the path of the first 3 LOTR games, it's still great. Who say... Read Full Review

This game is the best RPG I've played since FFX.

Seriously,I was very pleasantly surprised when I loaded this game up for the first time. Someone got it for me for Christmas and i assumed it was crappy bargain bin material, since I'd never heard of it before. But once... Read Full Review

Final Fantasy skinned for LOTR fans

There's really not that much to say about LOTR: The Third Age. Take the combat mechanics from Final Fantasy (or similar turn-based Japanese RPG) and slap them into a sub-standard 3rd person adventure game and viola, yo... Read Full Review

A really well developed RPG, that all RPG fans should own.

Now this game is one of the best RPG's and one of the hardest RPG's that I own. This game tells the tale you didn't know was happening during the time of the movies. This is a big change to this series, seeing that all t... Read Full Review

Down deep this is a good game, definantley buy this one if you are a lotr fan or rpg fan....

First off the RPG factor is awesome. In the game you fight exactly like you did in Final Fantasy X and level up like normal rpgs. It is a kick ass title because you don't use the usual ass kickers such as Legolas, Arag... Read Full Review
