Check out some of the voice-over talent for The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest.
Totally commercial and very bad. It is for younger gamers who just wish to play anything no matter how bad it is. This way it is easier to boost the sales. Tolkien's bones should be aching for seeing his timeless middle earth and its habitants turned into this this ..... ooooohhh better stop writing. Shameful this is...
I take it they were the only two cast members from the film they could get to do the voices. I'll be suprised if I hear Ian McKellen's voice and double suprised if I hear Viggo Mortensen's... Oh and Aragorn with a shield? wth?
So I guess they were going for the cartoonish look, but they still could have made the graphics better. The fighting idea could have had potential, but wow. They should have thought that through a bit more.
I am hoping that this will be good. If it isn't it won't be a surprise, but if it is good, I will buy it. Simple as that.
A family-oriented lotr game...interesting...ok I can accept that. But since when does Aragorn have a shield? Was that like specially made for the ps move or something?
dear lord of the rings, you've told your story. it was brilliant. but please stop milking the series. i love lord of the rings but dont ruin the trilogy...
This game looks terrible, even LOTR:The Two Towers on PS2 looks better than this....it's time to end making LOTR games and look forward and make new games! The movie was great, but it was time ago...so nobody want to pay for this game anymore!
Man watching this trailer and seeing John Rhys-Davis and Sean Astin makes me all nostalgic for the movies.. i think i'll watch them again, great films, books and a suprisingly good line of Video games based on this franchise and i only say that because sometimes when Books or movies get translated to the Video game side of things they don't hold up too well.. So it's a good thing that the epicness of LotR remained intact for us gamers. Hopefully this game turns out great! Cheers.
Love JRD! Still givin the Dwarves plugs after all these years! I remember the actor vids in the Two Towers and ROTK games he was always giving them plugs! great sense of humor!
