First of all, it is a real point and click adventure game which is not mixed with other genres as it use to be now. Although the Graphics are not very good (for 2000 it's excellent), this game is still great for its storyline which involves many unexpected turns and moments.

There are a lot of characters and scenes which take part in two worlds (Stark - world of science, Arcadia - world of magic). Despite the storyline, there are also some points which differs this game from other adventures. Firstly - it's steady attention to all small and important things and of course our main character - April Ryan always got a comment or two for them. Secondly - wonderful and charismatic characters.

All in all, it's no matter how old are you, how long do you play games and which genres of games do you like. The Longest Journey is the game which you must complete if you want to understand what computer games are and what they were in far 2000 year
