This game is simply amazing. If it came out today, I'd still consider it amazing, let alone 20 years ago. This game started one of the greatest line of puzzle/adventure games. It has the perfect amount of difficulty and execution. I prefer the birds eye view Zelda games over the 3D ones, so this game is one of my favorites. It's on my top 5 NES games, and top 20 Games of all time. Barely and story, straight to the action, just how I liked games as a kid. I'll never forget being shocked at all the hidden secrets and flare of this game. It mixes the perfect amount of puzzle with action. A simple game to get into, yet a difficult one to fully complete. One negative thing about this game is that Link is not "cool" yet, he doesn't receive his hero thumbs up from me until his appearance on the N64. Though considering its time, that last remark should be taken with a grain of salt. A must have, not just for gamers, but anyone. Pure Gold (no pun intended).
