How do i get the red sword?

I have talked to the guy who said to meet the old man in the grave yard. I have found the sword. What else do i have to do to get the sword?

You need to have 12 heart containers in order to pick up the sword (it's the Magical Sword). Return when you have enough and the old man will let you take it.
