GameSpot's Jeff Gerstmann gives an in-depth video review for Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
Love this game. Absolutely remarkable ending. The last dungeon, miniboss, Puppet Ganon, Ganondorf, his speeches, the cutscenes, the head stabbing, credits music and the last scene before the "The End" gives this game so much replay value.
What is better? Windwaker, Skyword Sword, or Twilight Proncess? Played Majoras mask And Ocerina of Time, I doubt any Zelda will live up to them. Can anyone prove me wrong?
@Dredcrumb9 lol The Wind Waker is the best zelda game. Its just soooooooooo big, shrouded with mysteries and theres always awesome stuff happening in the sea. You just have that feeling of freedom when cruising in the sea, coming across a new island or outposts,a tornado or giant squid... The combat is awesome and so is the story. Theres lots of side missions and secrets.I seriously recommend you this game I have so many great memories of it.
THIS GAME NEED TO COME OUT FOR WIIU!!!! Tingle tuner on the controller screen. Hell, I'd get a WiiU just to replay this game. Add WiiMotionPlus support to items! That one's free Nintendo.
I'm actually getting this instead of skyward sword and just waiting for the game to come down in price
great game ive not played this in year!!! I really feel like playing this again. u can get a gamecube for as little as 15£ now and evry zelda game for the gamecube for 15£ as well so for 30£ im defo going to get this again. zelda games will always be my most remembered games I will ever play Long live the zelda Franchise!!!
He says the master sword plays a large role, "it wouldn't be a Zelda game if it didn't" what about Majora's Mask?
This game's art style makes it look good even today. Simply genius decision on the visual department. And it doesn't hurt either that the gameplay was polished to perfection.
Despite what the review says, this game is not to easy. It has the perfect difficulty. I had more fun playing this game than any other one that I've ever played. In my opinion, second only to Ocarina of Time.
It always bugged me that Jeff said Tingle was from Ocarina of Time. In fact, he acted like Majora's Mask didn't even exist at this point, weird.
@pgf95 I was able to get a used "Like New" copy on Amazon.com. In the description the seller said the disc was mint and he did not lie. The booklet was mint and the disc is mint as a brand new game, no scratch whatsoever. I only paid $18 for it. :) Go to amazon click on Wind Waker and then "Used". Go to "Like new" descriptions. Or you could buy it New there too for advanced prices of course. Peace bro!
@justincoool for how much did you get the used copy? im going to buy a GQ for 30 bucks and want some cheap/nice games. :D
I have this game, I bought a mint copy "used" this year (2010). I have been playing so many games and will start this after Donkey Kong Country Returns. I'm EXCITED!!!! :)
@B-boy: Sony will never have a Zelda clone. The reason? Wll because nobdy has ever come close to cloning Zelda.
I never wanted to get this game cause I thought toon link was to kiddish. Let me tell you something, I am 100% retarded because of that. I am now going to go to my local gamestop and buy wind waker.
