Wind Waker isnt perfect but its still a great game full of many side-quests, characters and makes a truely fun adventure

User Rating: 9.3 | The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Limited Edition) GC
The Wind Waker is the latest Legend of Zelda title to hit the GameCube. It follows up after the OOT (Ocarina of Time) and features a wide variety of new and memorable characters that are met throughout the large flooded expanse of the new world.

The first thing noticeable about this game is the graphics. The developers have taken up a new idea in changing the graphical presentation to have a more cartoony-colourful feel. Many complain about this, however the graphics are a great representation of the games look and feel and soon you'll grow accustomed to them.
The gameplay is a very much the same to the OOT, as well as the controls and many of the items collected. One of the major differences in Wind Waker is the ability to sail around between islands as well as the ability to take control of key characters and animals to achieve tasks.

I find the music to be one of the let downs in Wind Waker because it just isn't as impressive as some of the boss tracks in any of the other Legend of Zeldas. Many of the tunes in towns and buildings are from some of the previous games and are slightly dimmed down or changed in pitch to give a different feel to the song itself.

Overall I'd say this game is worth buying for any Legend of Zelda fan, as well as new comers to the series. The plot, characters, gameplay, quirky new graphics and really just the sheer thrill of another Zelda adventure make this game another title worth picking up in The Legend of Zelda series.
