The only thing I'm not liking is the Mario-type worlds filled with puffy mushrooms, plump trees, and dopey-looking enemies that don't appear threatening in any way. Other wise, I think the over-all story sounds mysterious and new. Will Ganondorf be the main villain or what? And what connection does this new Link have with the ancient Hero of Time Link? Time to get a Wii and find out.

In no way do I doubt this game will have me hooked for weeks straight, the gameplay looks awesome! but would it really kill them to make the graphics at least semi-decent?

I love the part at the end where he's talking about changing up the formula a bit. Seems like they're really taking to heart some of the things fans said after Twilight Princess, about the formula becoming a bit too stale. I love Zelda, and I do want elements in there which make this game feel like Zelda, but I'm glad to hear that some things will be different. Hopefully it will be enough to make the game feel fresh, while still feeling like Zelda.

Sky Loft? Maybe it's the Sky City? And maybe this takes place during the Hylean Civil War? I don't know, but I can't wait!!! I need to go finish Twilight Princess right now!

"searching for a lost valuable friend" = not saving Zelda, i think. Cool.
Also, "land below that is taken over by some great evil force." Therefore, Skyloft vs Hyrule = Light World vs Dark World (A Link to the Past) = Child vs Adult (Ocarina of Time).
    I. Am. Loving. This.
Less Borders between dungeons and fields = more immersion, more seamless world. Losing your sword, fleeing from enemies to solve puzzles, dungeons not just fighting = more varied gameplay, more puzzles, probably more complex puzzles.
Balanced art style between cell shading, cartoony, realistic, beautiful to look at, and maturity = FINALLY!
New control scheme = you ARE Link.

    Skyward Sword = Perfection.

This game is going to be awesome! The graphics look fantastic for a wii game, Nintendo is going to do something original in a long going series for once (who knows Zelda may not be kidnapped this time around!) and the sword machanics look uber sweet!
