Despite the ageing technology, Nintendo manages to once again shape the future of gaming through motion control.

User Rating: 10 | The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword WII
Motion control is not essential, and it certainly shouldn't replace conventional input mechanisms, but Skyward Sword demonstrates how much better a game can be because of motion control.

This is a Zelda game... Nintendo has spent a lot of time, effort and love on this title, and it shows. You get
- A fantastically told story
- Beautiful art style despite the ageing Wii
- Spot on controls
- Thought provoking puzzles
- Plenty of content

I've always wanted to play the next Zelda game, but this is the first time i play to rescue Zelda.

The art is gorgeous, would it look better in HD, sure, but it looks fantastic on the Wii despite the jagged edges.

Wii Motion Plus was made for sword play... you get it here, plus some other clever uses... this is the way you should play this game.

Nintendo has extended the puzzles, they no longer exist solely as elements of a temple, every enemy is a puzzle, it is great.

As you'd expect, Skyward Sword has plenty to do. Some complain about 'content reuse'. Yes you will revisit the same locals, but you will want to, the areas provide new challenges as your adventure continues.

If you play games, you should experience this.
