Read my review on the game I give 8.5/10! The sequel to Wind Waker, this game is controlled with a stylus on the DS!

After setting off to save his sister Aryll in the events of The Wind Waker, Link continued on with Tetra and her crew. Searching for a rumored "Ghost Ship" Tetra finds Link sleeping away on the deck. The ship then comes face to face with the gost ship, appearing out of nowhere. Tetra climbs aboard to teach these pirates a lesson and remind them that there are rules to being a pirate, but suddenly, the Ghost Ship takes off with Tetra. Link tries to grab hold of the Ghost Ship but slips and is lost at sea, unconsious,

After seeing Tetra swept away and having a strange dream, Link wakes up on the shore of an unfamiliar island to find a fairy named Ciela staring at him. Ciela then waves you in the direction of "Grandpa" otherwise known as Oshus, who once rescued Ciela herself. Oshus unfolds to be a key character in Link's adventure, but not a very helpful one. He claims that Ciela and Link are too young to search for the Ghost Ship, but the two set off anyways. On their way to town, a huge earthquake (later revealed as the end boss) destroys the bridge, so they need a new way to town. After getting a sword and being taught how to use it, they eventually come to town, where rumors of the Ghost Ship are whispered in every corner.

They then come to a large and deadly temple, known as The Temple of the Ocean King. You will visit this temple many times on your adventure as it is a dungeon with a total 13 floors, making use of every item in the game. It is also where you will find 4 special items called "Sea Charts", which allow you to travel to new parts of the great blue sea.

Inside the temple they find a man a bit too big for his britches has got himself trapped in the temple. So they saved the man who introduces himself to be Linebeck, and grab the sea chart he was searching for. After a great deal of events Linebeck and Link begin searching for the Ghost Ship.

Anyhow the game works the same way the Wind Waker did. You have your boat, you sail to an island, you find the secret of that island, you beat the temple, you get an item and heart container and BAM you'll barely ever go back there again.

On your adventures at sea, you will come across many groups of pirates and one particularily nasty one- Jolene. Linebeck knows her personally since he stole her treasure and now Jolene wants her revenge. You will also come across 4 travellers ships (one for each sea chart). These travellers ships all have different uses for exampole one will give you special items, one will train you with your sword, one will buy your treasure ( usually for a better deal than the Treasure Teller would), and the other will give you a special item whenever you vistit. There is no Tingle in Phantom Hourglass, but don't wipe the sweat off your face yet, because on the last ship you will find someone just as annoying. The Man of Smiles.... Also there is an easter egg at sea. On the second ship you will find a man dressed in green, and his ship looks very familiar. He's named his ship The ... Prince of Red Lions.

The game also has multiplayer, which is really fun, but I found that often find that there are a lot of people can't handle losing and quit right before you win. The multiplayer works like this: P1 controls Link who moves trying to bring force gems back to his base to score points, while P2 controls 3 phantoms and moves them by drawing lines on the map trying to defeat Link. There are also "Big Plays". You get big plays by doing certain things in battles. Get enough big plays and there'll be something for you in adventure mode if go to a mail box....

Anyhow, the game controls very well with the stylus, and is very fun. It's a nice and easy game with a nice chain of side quests. So in all I give this game an 8.5/10
