A timeless classic
Link, the boy of the forest without a fairy, is given the opportunity to become a hero. Sent by the Great Deku Tree, the fairy Navi is asked to accompany Link on his quest to save Hyrule from the evil Gerudo king, Ganandorf Dragmire, and save the princess of destiny Zelda. To do this, Link must travel back and forth through time seven years to many locations, meeting interesting and memorable people, going to various and challenging (but never too frustrating) dungeons and fighting monsters and bosses and solving puzzles. Along with the main quest are side quests you can accomplish to gain extra health and items to help you on your journey. Ultimately there is a lot to do here and the average player can complete the game in about 20 hours on their first run.
This is a 3-D action adventure game where you go about fighting various monsters in the land of Hyrule, obtaining new weapons and items, solving puzzles, traversing through dungeons, and defeating various bosses. The game also features a heavy emphasis on time travel, in which certain events will only happen at a certain time as either young link or older link. The controls are incredibly spot on, precise, easy, and simple to use, especially with the innovative use of lock-on targeting, which makes hitting targets, especially from a distince, much easier. The graphics were simply amazing at the time of release, with detailed, colorful environments that were varied in their location and characters that were full of personality. Just as memorable as the gameplay and story is the amazing music. Every piece of music is really fantastic and great to listen to. These tunes will most likely stick into your mind long after you're done playing.
