@ChiefFreeman You are entitled to your opinion but know that this game was nominated as the worlds number one game for a reason. I truly pity the fact that you cant find what the rest of us have in this game. I enjoy playing games that are a fragment as good as this one. If u honestly believe that Grand Theft auto is a more wholesome game than this you should be writing on a page here people care about your jaded opinion.

The Nintendo 64 classic comes to the palm of your hand!
It's so awesome Nintendo is using this song in a trailer for the third time and a second time for OoT (this was the original OoT trailer music). This songs epicness cannot be beat.
Vault boy, they ripped off 4 Swords Misadventures for that quote. And actually, My fav is Resident Evil 4. 2nd OoT, 3rd is Minecraft.
Or willst thou suck? I lol'd at that and my god I want this game! Original Ocarina was the best game ever made hands down.
@Keeper_Artemus I can agree with you on the "run or fly" thing. Doesn't make much sense, BUT: Graphics aren't as good? You're tripping. They were able to ADD all kinds of POLYGONS to character models AND terrain for this game. That's a graphical BOOST, where i come from... 'Kiddier?' an ignorant statement, to say the least. If you said something more like "I don't care for the deeper, richer colors they were able to add to this version" or "I prefer my OoT to be a little more hazy, with a lower frame rate and a not-so-detailed sky," THEN, I might understand your POV. as far as an added dimension goes... maybe you only have one eye... that's upside-down... with stage 1 cataracts. If that's the case, fine, but understand that other people see the world WAY differently than you. My friend... you're off.
"willst thou run, or fly"....aren't they the same thing? P.S. the graphics aren't as good as the N64. And they're kiddier. I don't give a triumph fork about an added dimension.
man...why can't they make zelda games like this these days. Instead of making a remake of a good game like this, they should focus on making newer games that are good. It just seems like people care to much about making money these days that they don't take the time to make good games anymore...so they just make remakes of good games instead -.-.
@ChiefFreeman if you think Zelda is overrated you really are wearing rose tinted glasses, they chose to redo it for a reason, that being its one of the greatest titles ever made, now im not myself saying its the best, just that you cant go comparing it with other greats when in its own right it is gaming gold...
@RPGplayer10 -- there has already been dozens of FAR better games than Zelda. Zelda is an overrated. Resident Evil 4, Half Life 2, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Bioshock, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Metroid Prime all blow Zelda away.
nintendo just did the most fanfare ever this was the commercial back in the 90's for when the original ocarina of time came out and they revamped it with the new graphics. nintendo you know your stuff ;)
@DJAshwipe - Actually the original trailer for Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game to use "Riddle of Steel" (the song in the video) in it's trailer (and this "new" trailer we've just seen is the exact same one that aired all the way back in 1998 only the gameplay has been changed to show the new 3DS version), and since then Nintendo has sort of stuck with it.. they even used the same song to advertise Wind Waker if i'm not mistaken. The taglines used in this trailer are the exact same ones they used back in 1998 and that's why you get rediculous sounding lines like "willst thou suck?"... it's because the 90's were stupid as hell.. except for the video games :P
-loveless9 omg i think it DID!! i cant believe nintendo had the BALLS to put that in a LOZ trailer. :l
@Psi-tan For one, I am 16. Not 50, thank you very much. Just because I use proper grammar doesn't mean I'm 50... *cough* Anyways, new games are great, as long as they're well made and something... Well, new. I'm not going to abstain from playing a Zelda game because there's many of them, because it's a great series. Like I said, Nintendo treats their golden series very well, when they could easily just release a terrible game under the title of "Zelda" or "Mario". This is the first time Nintendo has ever completely re-made a Zelda game (Re-made, not re-released) if you don't count Link's Awakening DX (which was just in color). I don't see why people have to take sides when it comes to game companies. I'm not on Nintendo's side, nor am I on Sony's or Microsoft's. I like good games, so when someone makes a good game, I'll buy it, regardless of the company. And, in my opinion, Ocarina of Time is a very good game, and I'd love to be able to carry it around in my pocket, remastered and in 3D. So, call me what you'd like, but it's my opinion, and hey, if I'm happy, what's the big deal?
@sonicman12 Haven't you been paying attention? They already said there was going to be master quest.
I forgot to mention, I still have my N64 in perfect condition, and I have Zelda, Turok 1 & 2, Star Wars racing, Mario Kart 64, Mario 64 and I can't get enough of them, I love those games to death! That's why they need to stay classic and be cherished forever, not raped over and over again with the latest technological means available!
Rennocs, so ur saying u prefer playing Mario on every single Nintendo console forvever as long as it's better than the last? what ur also saying is that u would prefer playing Mario over.. let's say... Shadow of the Collosus? or Soul Reaver? or Zone of the Enders? or Demon Souls? or God of War? or any of the tons of Original games that brought something new to the world of gaming? If that's what ur saying then I have nothing to say to you because ur either in denial, or 50 years old!
@Psi-tan The reason Nintendo can keep on releasing new versions of those games is because they actually make high quality games. If they were to release some piece of crap and put the Zelda title on it, fans would be outraged, and it wouldn't sell. I don't expect a bunch of new titles from Nintendo, but I do expect the recurring series to be very high quality if they want my money, which they usually are.
yaaaaawn!! Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Smash Bros., Starfox... Gee, I wonder what the next generation console will bring... I'm SURE nintendo will surprise me this time.. oh look, It's Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Starfox, Smash Bros.. again.. with new graphics..yay..! ZZzzzzzzzz I must calm myself, the suspense is killing me... :S
This is a LEGEND. I hope they remake it a hundred more times, because a game of this stature deserves a constant update so it shines again and again. The ONLY reason I'm getting a 3DS is for this game (and Star Fox). My childhood games in the palm of my hand, -AND- in 3D? Yes, please.
It looks good, but, I think I'd like much more a 3D remake of "A Link to the Past", that was one of my favorite Zelda games ever, I've had enough about Ocarina!... ^_^
So. Officially speaking, this game has been released on the N64, Gamecube (TWICE), and is on the Virtual Console. And they NOW, have FINALLY, updated the graphics. It took a while, didn't it guys? Maybe there's a setting after you beat the game once to play it with the Master Quest levels, upping the difficulty for the veterans. But, tis only dreams, dear fellows.
Haha NIntendo stole my idea, I said months ago that they should remake the original trailer. And I'm glad they did, this is sexy, I never get tired of this trailer and its great to see them do it again.
koool "gonna beat in like a day though" can't count the number of times i beat that game growing up. Think i memerized the entire game from strt to finish back in the day.
