Yeah.. I totally forgot to return the fairies after beating the Great Bay Temple >_<
But fortunately it's not like the extra health is THAT big a deal.
Still.. I can't believe I forgot to do that lol.

I usually go back and get them later anyways. It feels kinda nice to revisit old levels with all of the items and see how easy they are!

one time i forgot to return the snowhead temple fairies. i went back to get them again on a new time cycle, and immediately used the fire arrow on the frozen eye switch in the room with the dungeon map. the game froze the second i hit the switch. now i still do the temples in order even with the item you get there. should i be paranoid about this or was that just an unlikely bug? it made me think you can't do a dungeon out of order or the game will freeze.

Unlikely Bug.
Same thing happened to me, I jump attacked a Gibdo as it froze me, so it grabbed me and I killed it at the same time. The game froze

I did that once at Woodfall. It wasn't too bad, though I did complain to myself a lot, cursing my failtastic memory.

This was totally just a bug! The game is designed for dungeons to be revisited. After all, there are areas like the Goron village that require beating a boss over again for some side quests to work right (unless you get it the first time through). Really, when you get right down to it, the entire game is really designed around the concept of "revisiting" things. Groundhog Day, etc. etc.

I did this once for Stone Tower Temple.
Usually I like getting everything during my playthrough, but at that moment I was like f*** it and didn't bother going back for them. The Great Fairy Sword is garbage anyway.

To make the game hard again. Go up against Gyorg, put on Zora mask, get in the water and stay there til he's dead.
Good luck, it's actually quite fun when you're managing to control it.
