The limitations of Game Boy's control scheme made this game rather cumbersome to play, although it's an awesome game! This remake is a great improvement without making the game way easier than it was intended to be. It's more manageable, not easier.
However, as Nintendo has seen in instances like SMAS, remaking game music is dicey. While I understand they had to put in a remastered soundtrack for HDTVs, I'd love the improvements in gameplay and graphics even if it had the GB soundtrack. If they have an OTA which allows it to do so, I'd give a 9.5, tho sadly, Gamespot doesn't have decimal ratings ;(
