The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning User Review
Different to the original Spyro, but it still IS Spyro

- Easy

- 10 Hours or Less
- The Bottom Line:
- "Just plain fun"
When I saw the commercial for this game, I just had to get it and I decided to ask my parents if I could get for Christmas instead of when it came out.
Ok, I admit, this game was quite short, but with a great storyline. Compared to the other Spyro games, like Year of the Dragon or Enter the Dragonfly and so on, this game was definately the shortest, which does bug me really.
There are good things to this game, such as good voice actors to suit the characters such as Elijah Wood. I just think he suits Spyro's character and that is what is needed for any voice acting. I also like the humour, the new characters, new kinds of levels and four different elemental breaths. Even though fire, ice and electricity have been in Enter the Dragonfly, but instead changed the bubble breath to the earth breath, a very good addition to dragon breaths. Instead of lizards, dinosaurs, gnorcs etc like in the other games, this one has apes, elemental kings, ghost like creatures and a big black female dragon for a big boss. I'm glad they changed the enemies because I got bored of fighting the same thing and I thought that the bosses were more challenging.
Pretty good and yet a very quick game, you can just tell that there is gonna be more 'The Legend of Spyro' games and this game is a good start.

Spyro kicks some serious *** in this movie. Its a assortment of videos all recorded by myself, from the PS1, to XBOX360. Enjoy, and comment if you like!Posted Aug 6, 2008
