The Legend of Kage has long been one of my all-time favorite games. People have dead-panned this game as long as I can remember simply because of how random the gameplay can be. True fans of this title know that you may score well over 200,000 one play and 1500 the next. If anyone recalls old timey games were more difficult then today and it always seems these critics judge games on their merits today. Most old games just won't hold up but Legend of Kage has a certain randomness that makes the great run through all the more rewarding. It never bothered me to have to play repeatedly to learn how a level plays in order to beat it. Thats the idea isn't it ? I will never tire of the acrobatic, sword swinging, ninja chopping, fun that this game offers. If you liked this twenty years ago you'll probably still enjoy it. If you were one of those kids that never was happy with anything, I'm willing to bet nothing has changed so keep your precious five dollars and buy something else.
