What makes an rpg for me has always been a new an innovative story line. now i haven't got too far yet but i like how the story is done. the fighting style kinda sucks and the item collections are stupid but the story itself is sound. for me that is what makes an rpg... plus the morphing ability after you find the first great hero's weapon is cool. i think it is overall a fairly good game and that you guys are so used to all the flash and gore that you have forgot that rpgs are about the story and character development both of which are not lacking whatsoever in this game... it may not become one of my all time favorites but i like it nonetheless.
