Although buggy, laggy, and overly difficult at times. The Last Remnant is a deep, wonderfully written, and fun RPG.
Good- Very Deep and Involving - A Story and Characters You'll Love and care for. - The Battle System is new and unique. - A very lengthy game that will keep you coming back.
Bad- Horrible Frame Rate - Buggy at times - Texture Pop that will make you cry. - A few of the bosses difficulty are not proportioned to the difficulty they should be at. In other words, at times too difficult.
The Last Remnant is a game frowned upon by the gaming community. They are right and wrong. This game has a huge amount of bad things, and yet has a huge amount of good things. So it weighs out to a level game. However the technical glitches, frame rate issues, texture pop, and uneven difficulty make this game far from perfect. But being so deep, wonderfully written and planned, and so on, make this game worth playing, despite the glitches.
At first I was unsure about the game, I was unsure if I wanted to skip out on it because of the glitches, I am glad I didn't. Don't be worried about the glitches and buy this game. However this is definitely only for the true RPG fan. Side quests are required to beat some bosses, and it gets really deep and complex and strategic. So all RPG fans need a copy of this game.
