Why is everyone complaining that this should be for PC? Can't we just be impressed that a game of this quality is running on a PS3. Besides, Naughty Dog would never develop for anything other than Playstation. And, this would probably play better control-wise on a council, in my opinion.
What's with the attitude? I was simply asking a very normal question. Blatant insults make you look very childish, I hope you know that. I was hoping for a PC version actually, I could care less about the consoles.
it woiuld be cool if the multiplayer was just the open world and you and your friends trying to survive. if some on leaves the game it keeps going, its kind of hard to explain my idea, but naughty dog has a lot of options with the multiplayer and they could make it great.
Is the girl's behavior dynamic or scripted? How well she fits into gameplay will define the game. She could be the next step in the evolution of companion AI.
In one of the other GameSpot videos, one of the devs from Naughty Dog were asked the same question, and his reply was that, no it's not scripted. Apparently the same demo was played earlier on with different results.
Given all the films, games, books about the apocalypse, zombies, alien invasions, etc. I think we as a species are obsessed with our own destruction. Having said that, i plan on getting this.
I don't get what all the hypes about, this doesn't look like nothing we've ever seen before. Why can't they just get back to the Jak and Daxter series? I miss those games so much..
@alpha_unit97 "I don't get what all the hypes about."Meanwhile here comes every other sequel known to man at E3. And this is the game that got your goat. Ok.
Looks like what Uncharted 3 should've been. The environments look totally carried over from Uncharted. The character movement looks much better, especially those close-quarters-combat situations. Almost looked scripted to me though. Hopefully that exact gameplay makes it into the final game. But definitely a sick looking game. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
@Vodoo Actually, from other demos of this same scene, it appears that the AI interactions aren't scripted. Also, this game has been under development since the completion of Uncharted 2, which is why everything is so polished and fluid. Longer development times mean better games. Too bad major publishers don't understand that.
This looks...spectacular. It's like The Road with Ellen Page instead of some useless kid...'cept...she looks a bit less like Ellen Page here than before. Did they change the character model?
@kohle36 They probably got the Ellen Page thing quite a few times and decided to change it. I thought the same exact thing when I saw the first trailer.
Wow this demo looks great! If the game's controls are as fluid as the game made it look, this will be an amazing experience. The game just seemed to transition so well, which is what really blew me away!
