A great adventure game should be like a book. Both compelling, interesting, and suspenseful. The Last Express is so much more. The game has the best looking graphics in a point and click game ever. The vibrant, but also dark environment gives the game the perfect touch of realism. The writing is without a doubt the best I have ever witnessed. The twists, turns, and flips will keep u playing until the end. Luckily the game has a good length. It will probably take you 10 hours to beat. Luckily, this is a game with infinite replay value. While in most point and click games you have to do things in a set order, this game destroys that notion. The game takes place all in real time. If you aren't there for an important conversation, u missed it. I played it 3 times, and I was still hearing and seeing new things. The beggining is also one of the greatest starts to any game ever. You will have to find out what is happening for yourself. The only fault this game has (with any other point and click game) is the obtuse puzzles. Most are fine, but every once in a while you will have to find something that is almost completely hidden. The end can also be very cheap ( you did give the kid the beetle didn't you). All and all it is still an amazing game. Well worth tracking down. No PC adventure game collection is complete without it.
