This game really sucked. I traded it in the next day after I got it. I was like omg I just wasted 60 bucks on this garbage. The character's look good but the lack of character roster and no replay value and no epic boss battle either. Pretty lame, this game deserves a lower score.

This review does kinda suck but I don't think any of the KOF games had much content...it was simply about picking from one of the 10,000 characters on their roster and fighting!

The graphics were nice but the characters were a little too large on screen. Music and voice acting was weak! Definitely not worth a full game price tag and I couldn't even find a match to play someone online. I want a KOF collection with online play and some updated graphics for widescreen tv.

the grapfics in this one is good but it just doesn't play like a kof game. it lacks the smooth and fast-paced gameplay of kof series, and the size of the characters is so big that I've always wondered if this is kof. fortunately they fixed these problems in kof xiii, which is awesome btw. i've been playing kof since 10 years ago and don't wanna see its end. so keep up the work snk!

This game is really good in offline versus mode with a friend or friends. The new gameplay make this KOF feel really fresh and solid and a LOT of fun.

Too bad these days, a fighting game is judged on its SINGLE player content....

Anyway, i play online also, add me on Xbox, gamertag: Violent Ryo

The only story they got was this series took place in the year 1995 (according to their age in the data). So what's with going back to this time, like hanging from no where. When KoF was once a year that time and already had '94 & '95.

Haha, I like the Video Review last part, "You Lose". I don't know they just happened to put it this way or not, but it suited very well for the message I was thinking about.
I still love the older series better.

Pity----i cant really think KOF got into this point...i always enjoyed so much playing with it....like Capcom Vs. games...if they were trying to make something good i guess they should at least have included more characters, specially knowing how "demanding" Mai is.....really shame, cause i used to love this game....but guess not even here in Europe is going to be so popular this time......good graphics, but just not so good overall...

Ok well ive heard some complaints about the offline modes and some people have issues with the aliasing. If you like CvS then you wont care and it doesnt look that bad. As far as this review goes i think the reviewer is just a bit bent over having no Mai. I mean i would love to see an updated version of Mai bouncing around but to say it cant compete against other games because it doesnt have enough characters is ridiculous. Online is pretty critical these days especially since arcades are more or less dead but if youve never played KoF and you like 2D fighters I think it should at least be worth a rental.
