Let me make one thing clear, King of Fighter XII is not a bad game, its just dissapointing.

King of Fighters XII is one of those games that you cant wait, for, but when you play you can already tell your going to get tired of it within 3 or so days. The good things about this game is that it features good hand drawn graphics, good roaster and simple yet cool super special moves. Unlike most of my reviews i will not break down anything since there isnt much to talk about. the cons of this game is that the arcade is way to short, the lack of offline content, the fact that the online lags unbearably, and the lack of stages. King of Fighters is one of those rent only games. there isnt much to do once you have done arcade mode about 50 times and you wont do the online much since it has way too much problems. but its still fun, but you will find yourself going back to Street Fighter IV after about 3 days of playing King of Fighters. Bottom line- Rent it first.
