Not enough character development; with games like Blazblue it stands indifferent among fighters, but still entertains.

The main, and biggest problem with the game for me was how much they cut down the characters' movesets from their original, meaty movesets to a repetetive and unbalanced one.

Visually, the game was very entertaining and had brilliant graphics, giving me a fun amount of Arcade grinding.

The problem with a lot of 2D fighter games (including this one) is the huge lack of character development, when so much care has gone into their character design; I enjoy cutscenes between/after fights to make the game deeper.

The gameplay is fine, if unfulfilling with the lack of special moves - the frames were smooth, the movement attractive and the graphics/effects brilliant.

In conclusion, I'd like to have known more about the characters and a larger set of moves to make this game something better; if graphics are your thing in fighters you won't be dissapointed with KoF XII.

I bought the game for £11 and in my opinion, that was fine; I wouldn't pay any more than £15 though.
