Much much improved, maybe one of the best KOF on PS2.
It broke the traditional game rules of the previous KOFs, and had brought KOF into a new, exciting world.
There're no more 1 on 1 fighting in KOF XI, player can create their own combos with 2 or even 3 characters by using Quick Shift (QS) system. Also the BGMs had much improved, not only on the PS2 version, but also on the Arcade system.
Moreover, the contents of PS2 version are also wonderful.
Short loading time that never appeared in old KOFs; 8 new SNK characters that Arcade version do not have; several new modes that can extend the game life, and etc.
Besides, the most exciting part is the Challenge mode. To clear all stages players need to think carefully because besides beating someone in a specific time, they also need to achieve other kinds of goals, such as create a combo with 3 characters, make a 15 hits or above combo, beating several enemies with 0 HP, etc.
You will find many new elements in PS2 KOF XI, you can't miss it.
