Great game for lovers of the original movie.
The movie and game have the same basic storyline. For those of you who haven't seen the original movie, it's about a British criminal named Charlie Croker. After getting out of prison for robbery, he decides to go for just one more heist. The Job is in Italy. If he succeeds, the payout will be $1,000,000 dollars.
In addition to the Story mode, there is a party mode (take turns with other people), a free ride mode (drive around London or Turin freely, no specific goals are set), a Checkpoint challenge section, a Destructor challenge section (knock down a specific arrangement of traffic cones), and a Special challenge section. As you can see, after the story mode, there are plenty of other challenges to keep you occupied.
The game is a bit hard at first, the first few cars you are given to drive are slow to respond. It can be frustrating, but with practice, it can be mastered. The graphics are not good at all. Matter of fact, it looks like everything (from the cars, to the people, to the buildings) is made of painted cardboard.
I am a bit partial to the game, because I'm a big fan of the movie, but it can be a fun game that's suitable for all ages.
