Old school, over the top, and funny as hell. Tarantino lovers, rejoice.

User Rating: 8.5 | The House of the Dead: Overkill WII
If you don't like movies like Pulp Fiction, Shoot 'Em Up, or Sean of the Dead, you probably won't like this. However, if you are able to identify the humor put into this game (and not act like a dumbass and only see the violence/cursing on the surface), then you'll find that this game is very funny, and loads of fun.

Like I said before, if you aren't able to appreciate movies like Pulp Fiction (or anything else by Tarantino), you'll probably dislike the profane language and over the top violence. However, if you can recognize the fact that it plays like a bad 80's movie, it becomes much more enjoyable. You've got the stereotypical federal agent; a complete dork, never says his name, and fumbles with women, who tries to handle partnering up with the stereotypical shaft-like black detective; badass, profane, and...oh for chrissake, his name is frigging Isaac Washington, how much more 80's & over the top can you get?!
The gameplay is standard light-gun action, with you shooting at the screen and stuff, but if you turn the "movie" volume up, you get to hear the gems passed between Washington and Agent G ("Maybe we should wait for backup..." (G) "Maybe you should grow some balls!" (Wash.)), which turn the game from any other zombie-shooter into a ridiculously funny zombie-shooter. Overall, if you have a wii, and a sense of humor, buy this. If you don't, buy it anyways, write a low-scoring review on gamespot, and make yourself look like you don't understand the game. Up to you.
