Pathetic parody of the original House of the Dead series with frustrating gameplay, bugs, and bad graphics and dialogue.

User Rating: 2 | The House of the Dead: Overkill WII
This game was rated one of the most profane games ever created. The excessive use of swearing words in the game is just stupid, period. What are they trying to achieve here? Every single sentence that the character Isaac Washington says contains at least one swearing word; this is even worse than that crap GTA.
Aside from the horrible dialogue, the game has extremely outdated graphics that looks like a direct port from N64 or PS1.
Although the game is slightly easier than the almost-impossible-to-beat House of the Dead Returns 2&3 for Wii, the horrible framerate of this game (yes, it -will- lag, which is extremely rare for a console game) and frustrating camera shifts (basically the camera will rarely be still, it is always shifting around, making it almost impossible to get bonus items or get a chain of shots without missing a hit) will make it almost as frustrating to play. Why the hell does the camera keep shifting in this game? Sometimes the camera just shifts away before you even finished off some enemies! I have lost count of how many combos that were broken just because the stupid camera decides to move around in the middle of a shot. This is just plain stupid.
Another weakness of this game is that the money collected at the end of the level is pure random. Sometimes I would receive like $33 for getting an S-rank, and sometimes I would receive $2000+ for getting a B-rank!! WTF? I have no idea how they calculate the money in this game, and that is frustrating because you need the money to purchase better weapons and upgrade current weapons. Generally, the money obtained at the end of the level is pathetic, you'll basically be forced to grind each level over and over again in order to upgrade guns and buy new ones. For example, an automatic shotgun costs $6500 in the shop, but that's the just the basic gun. You'll need to purchase upgrades, which in total, with the gun, will cost at least $12000. Each level, ONLY IF you're lucky, will yield around $1500, so you'll forced to do some level EIGHT TIMES to have a proper shotgun. Combined with the long loading times, and the long length of the level itself, this is a purely frustrating experience.
In all, you're better off with Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles for better graphics, better storyline, longer gameplay, better mechanics, better music, better cutscenes not involving some stupid idiot swearing every other word, way more guns, a more reasonable system of upgrades, and much better framerate.
The only reason I rated this game as "hard" is because of the framerate and camera shifts. If those two problems were fixed, this game is extremely easy, and a walk in the park compared to House of the Dead Returns 2&3 and Umbrella Chronicles.

Graphics: 2/10
Sounds/music: 6/10 (some neat vintage music)
Dialogue/storyline: 1/10 (it's pure garbage)
Gameplay: 3/10 (due to bugs, and the bad camera shifts, it's not really enjoyable)
Mechanics: 2/10
