A game compilation that's good
House of the Dead 2
Pros
Oh yes, the infamous voice acting, I can't help but laugh every time i hear a terrible piece of diolouge, no it's not as bad as the also infamous "Your base are belong to us" but still pretty bad one of my fvouite parts of this game. Some pieces of diolouge doesn't even match the subtitles but this is a direct port so it's at least forgiveable an it's from th 90's but it makes it that much better how over the top every one sounds
The bosses I found them simple yet fun to play (remember this is an aracde game 2) and there was enough variety in their attacks for me to feel involved an alert.
Original mode (arcade should be called this but i'll let it go) this let's you use any items you get from playing a HOTD 3 minigame before coming to the main menu this makes it easy to replay the same 45 minute game with new items and guns
Cons
Th weapons are far too weak and the clip size is way too small (only 6 shots per clip) the game on the normal setting is far too hard to cope with that small of a clip size.
The difficulty was way too hard for me, it makes it even harder how they have a credit system (guess they wanted to truely mimic th arcade experience) but th better you do the more credits you'll earn.
The extra modes feel tackled on and you get NOTHING for completing the challenges it's a complete waste
The Story, since they didn't include the original game I have no idea what they're doin what the 1996 Curien case was or any development and it just sort of throws you in without any explanation

Pros
Much easier than the previous game and it's the perfect difficulty even with the credit system.
The story makes no connections to the last game and could be considered a stand alone game.
You get to use a friken shotgun which causes more damage and has a higher clip size
Bosses even better than the last game with a more obvious strategy as the game will tell you the weak spot (the last did that 2 but it was less obvious) it even has a smaller bar that when you diminish it, it prevents it from attacking you which is great and doesn't always leave you alert.
Cons
Extras still feel tackled on and not really there there's a new mode called Extreme mode (which is like extra hard) (no joke intended) which gives you a melee attack but makes the ememies more difficult to defeat
You still get nothing for completeing challenges
Overall, my personal favoutite game on this disc would be HOTD 3 personally and the price seems about right (i've seen it on sale fr $20 although i got mine fr $30). HOTD 3 gets an 8 oput of 10. I averaged out the 2 scores to form the 7.5. There are many worse budget games to buy (Data Design Interactive)
