fun game,good graphics,follows the book.

i really liked this game dispite what the reveiwers say. i think its becouse its one of my favorite tolken books and i also love the lord of the rings series. this game has good graphics,it has ok gameplay and the fight is really fun and at times addicting. the graphics in the hobbit suprised me becouse i didnt expect those kind of graphics in a game like this. i also really enjoyed the fighting in this game and the forest fight was one of my favorites. but what really pulled me in to this game was the fact that it followed the book so closely and raven software really seemed to have a respect for the writeing of the story. a few of the things that really bring this game down was that it wasnt multi player. i mean the game has a whole ton of charactors they could have used to form a sort of co op mode. i think that would have beeen really cool if you could have played as gandalf or one of the dwarves. another thing that brought it down for me was all the annoying little things that you had to do to beat the game such as retreiving items and tidious things like that. well even thought this game could have been better than it was i think i would recomend it to anyone who likes the tolken series or who likes adventure games.
