Classic from the past loses some of it's shine with age.

User Rating: 7.8 | Goonies 2: Fratelli Saigo no Chousen NES
Any NES owner that was a fan of the movie back in the day has most likely played this game numerous times . A platformer just like all others from those days, Goonies 2 separated itself from the pack with a load of fetch quests. What made this a standout was that the items you were looking for either made questing easier or were necessary for the completion of the game. I would go so far as to say that this was a forefather to the later Castlevania games (excluding the first which was a straightforward action platformer.)

What makes this seem like less of a "classic" now? The graphics definitely show there age, The constant back-tracking seem like a chore and detracts from the enjoyment. The maze like sections are tedious and even a little boring.

While this is still a very good NES game, it isn't the gem it used to be. It's still a must-buy for NES collectors. Just don't expect anything like Metroid or Kid Icarus.
