The Godfather PSP game is based on the 1970's film of the same name. The game follows your journey in the Corleone family from living on the back streets to becoming the Don of NYC.

The Godfather has two different modes of gameplay. First there is the storyline. This is where you develop your character and rise in the ranks within the Mafia. From getting taught how to knee-cap people with your pistol to assassinating the rival Dons of the rival families. The second mode of gameplay is the mob wars. This is where you go if you are stuck on a particular mission on the storyline. This is where you can further the boundry of the Corleone family and capture businesses to gain that extra dollar. Running low on ammo? Visit the black market. This is where you can purchase ammunition and upgrade your existing weapons into more lethal models.

The Godfather is a good all-round game with a lot to offer for everyone. Ok, the gameplay is a bit restricted due to the fact that it is a portable console. But the game is still brilliant and Gamespot doesn't do it justice.
