The Godfather Blackhand edition is a surprisingly good and polished sandbox game for the wii.

The wii hasn't had many sandbox (open world games), there are only a hand few and the godfather is one of the few. The godfather uses motion controls to shoot, punch and grab objects and people. The story line and cut scenes are exactly the same as the other consoles. The game is challenging and fun, you can do the missions or build your rank till you become the don or you can just roam around the large city. There are many good things about the game, there is a great interrogation system and combat is quite good.

Even though the game is great the wii motion controls sometimes didn't respond and because of the different combat moves the wii sometimes couldn't pick up which type of hit i was doing. You also have the option of using weapons in the game, there are melee weapons, pistols and automatic guns. In the game you have to use your weapons wisely because you are not supplied with much ammo. There is also a section where you can upgrade yourself (health, strength. etc.)

EA have made a great game for the wii and i think if your a sandbox or action lover and you have a wii you should get this game.
