Pokemon Silver is the a Pokemon game set in the era after the original games, Red and Blue. It captures the Pokemon experience in flying colors to say the least, but is probably the most unappreciated game in the series (WHY?!).Pokemon Silver (and Gold for that matter) start off the same as any Pokemon adventure, a kid sets out from his home town to become a Pokemon Champion. Although every Pokemon game starts out this way, Silver has a twist. You don't really have any intentions to be a Pokemon trainer at all in the beginning, but you soon realize you have to, if you want to be able to discover some kind of Pokemon egg. Silver and Gold are also the only games in the entry in which you have a bully for a rival, sure the rival in Blue and Red tags you with remarks like "Smell ya later" but this one kicks you! At least you get to name him after you experience this.... heh heh heh. Anyways, the game delivers the greatness of Pokemon in a whole new way, true colors and a lot of em! The over world springs to life in day and night times and Pokemon are detailed with awesomeness in battles (at least for the time being). The new Pokemon roster may seem bad, but in my opinion it's the best ever. Training your Pokemon to be awesome power machines is as cool as it could be, ever. After you collect all of the badges and beat the championship you get to go back to the original world from Red and Blue too! The story for this one is edgy too, for a Pokemon game. You can even bring your old favorites into Silver to dish out PWNAGE to other Pokemon and take pictures of your collection with the Game boy Printer, cool! As you can see, Silver is an awesome game. It's a surprise Nintendo does not re release it for a DS remake (I sure wish it would) and will always be my favorite entry in the entire Pokemon Franchise.
