I was looking for a game that resembled GTA and I stumbled upon The Godfather: Blackhand Edition. I would say this is probably the best game I own. I wasn't sure if i should get Scarface or The Godfather, but i tried The Godfather first. The gameplay is great, controls are so easy to use, you can upgrade your weapons and your character (Which you can create). But to say you can just "create" your character is far off what The Godfather offers. Every single little tiny detail from scars to nose shape, to chin deposition to hair style. I absolutley loved the creation aspect and the gameplay is just as good. There are so many things you can do in the game. Like GTA, you can shoot civilians on the street, you can shoot the cops, rob a bank, blow up a building, throw people off roofs, throw that guy that looked at you wrong out the window, beat people with so lots of melee weapons, bribe the Po-Po, take control of buisneses and so much more. There are two different executions for each gun and they all are so wickedly cool. (Kicking down a person, puting a foot on them, and blowing their head off with a shotgun) You can customize your character with stats such as "No heat for stealing parked cars" "Shoot faster" "Aim faster". In total, this game is fantastic. It's got nearly everthing you could want. Unfourtunatly there are minor flaws that most other people woulnt really care about, such as I found it a bit tacky that there was never any open grass fields because there was always buildings side by side. I also found it odd that police were a little to easy to escape, the worst they could do was set roadblocks, and you pretty much went free if you entered your hotel room or apartment. Great game though, really good.
