Gangster gaming at its best.

User Rating: 8.5 | The Godfather: The Don's Edition PS3
Although this game was originally released on the X-Box and PS2, it has never been better on modern consoles. This game is an absolute classic in my book, as it follows the movie very well and still presents some great gameplay. Although older, this one is definitely worth picking up.

GAMEPLAY - Similar to GTA games, but there isn't as much to do. Basically you just do missions, side missions, and slowly take over New York by extorting businesses and rackets, which is by far the most fun to be had with this game. - 9/10

STORY - Basically the storyline of the movie put into a game where there's a side-story going on. Throughout the game your character will rise from just a lowly mobster to becoming the Don of NYC. - 8.5/10

GRAPHICS - Unfortunately this is where the game is lacking. They didn't do anything to improve in this area, but I didn't find them the least bit offensive. Many probably will, however, so this game loses some points in that area. - 7/10

SOUND - There aren't many tracks to this game, but the ones that are here are very relevant to what is going on. The voice-acting is great as well, with some dialogue from Mr. Brando himself. - 8.5/10

LENGTH/REPLAY VALUE - I've played through this twice; once on the PS2, once on the PS3. Both versions are different, but it's pretty much the same fun game. This is not something that's going to necessarily take a long time to beat, but it's one of those games to play for a couple hours inbetween whatever other game you're currently addicted to. - 8.5/10

BOTTOM LINE - If you're a fan of GTA games or just happen to like the movie, definitely pick this game up. With its current price you can't go wrong with how fun this game is. - 8.5/10
