The Godfather 2 is not a bad game. The incorporation of certain elements of the movie and the ways in which EA has recreated an era of mob violence and territory control is nothing short of worthy of playing. The story leads the player to inevitably attain additional family members, or made men, and discover new areas of the world soon to be controlled by you and your family as you create your character, Dominic, and look to simply make more money and bring the opposing families to ruin. It is an enjoyable experience, one obviously not appreciated by all, which deserves to be given a shot. The game is fun, not an annoyance or a nightmare of glitches, it is fun. The online multiplayer takes a moment to get used to but is all that you could ask for from a third person mobster game. The different game modes provide for diversity among your online endeavors and the progression of leveling your characters offline are continued online as well. The weapons are semi-balanced and the maps are not too large to play in, they are actually semetrical and fair, allowing for unbiased competition and a great, intense experience online. Check the bargain bin as I've suggested and you may find that this game is all that you'd come to expect from a mafia thriller; strategic action and interesting progression as you become the don of your family.
