4.9 is not accurate for this game I have replayed it four times just for the pure fun of the game.

I loved the first game it was awesome. The storyline and the people in the game made it stand out. The new look and feel of this game was refreshing. I love the mechanics of a lot of it but some things could have been better. The game was too short. The online play is okay but it would be nice to be able to build your weapon license in single player mode also not just multipler. More fronts to take over would have been nice. Buying guns was more fun than finding them. I like that better in the first one. I loved the newer graphics and I wanted more out of the fight for the territories. A larger family would have been nice. And an ability to learn more skills with some characters instead of just when they got promoted. Being able to take over other families would have been nice. To become the Don of Dons. You know if you took over a compound then the soldiers would follow you. I liked the scheme of taking over businesses on 2 better and the fact that the other families would try to take their businesses back. I really liked 2 as a game it was fun and I wish it was longer. And the online play was better. It is hard to try to level up online if you are not a great player it can be a little frustrating. There should be a way to buy player upgrades and that would make it interesting. If there were more gun options would be great as well. Maybe if they decide to make Godfather III it will be in the nearer future with more up to date weapons and cars. I think the best mix of graphics and playability of an open world game is this one. I think if the next installment would have more cars and guns and more families to fight and more racket types. Like a car stealing racket that you have to deliver cars like in Mafia II. Buying safehouses as well as earning them as in Saints Row 1 & 2. Making it fun but tactical as well.
